This has been a lovely Saturday morning; I wake up with foggy eyes and stretch to the other side of my bed to open the blinds. At this time of year one expects to be greeted by a white blanket out their window but I’m rudely awakened by lifeless grass and the lack of snow Toronto has in January. Where did the snow go? Is this going to be a permanent climate change? Obviously I’m not the only one who can figure out that Global Warming is becoming a more pressing issue than many of us anticipated. Perhaps many saw this coming but couldn’t bend Mother Nature’s will; either or I have decided that this weather is unacceptable and need to start a change in my ecological footprint. I already use public transportation, drying racks and wash all dishes by hand. My next step is going to be keeping a compost bucket and to replace all my lightbulbs to ones that save energy.

What’s yours?

Till next time,
