Modern Society

Recently I cant help but think about how institutionalized society has become; we rely on a handful of powerful people that dictate how and why we function. I think its absolutely bizarre how so many people fall into never ending cycles of 9-5 weekdays and how we have convinced ourselves that only 8 out of a month is the needed time to catch up on your own life aside from work.

8 OUT OF 31 DAYS, SOME PEOPLE HAVE MORE KIDS THAN THAT.

I do appreciate everything that the Canadian government has done for society (health care obviously) BUT if we are in such a ‘modern’ era it should be a goal for society to flourish without totally depriving citizens time with themselves and their families.

Modern society lacks passion, creativity, and the courage to live; we must find a way out of this dreadful never-ending cycle that is not related to either hippy’s or hipsters.
